NetPlay TV Bingo Goes Scandinavian
London-based interactive gaming firm NetPlay TV has announced the launch of a Swedish version of its popular online bingo product, Bingos.com, to complement its already popular Polish, English, Italian and Spanish offerings.
The Swedish-language site will initially launch online and NetPlay TV revealed that it plans to begin integrating its television and mobile products shortly afterwards.
NetPlay TV is listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and revealed that online bingo is popular in Sweden with more than 100 land-based bingo halls alongside 575 non-profit bingo licenses in issue. In addition, it stated that the Scandinavian nation has one of the highest propensities to gamble in Europe with more than 85 percent of the population participating in gambling.
“This,
aligned with one of the highest levels of Internet penetration throughout
Europe makes Sweden a very attractive market,” read a statement from NetPlay
TV.
”The launch of Bingos.com in Sweden further establishes the group as the
European leader of online bingo. The addition of another country to the already
established sites in Spanish, Italian and Polish will benefit all players as
the prize fund will be increased further.”
"We are really excited about the Swedish online bingo launch,” said Dominic Mansour, Chief Executive Officer for EuroBingo.com.
“This
further establishes us as the strongest pan-European online bingo brand. The
high Internet penetration and propensity to play bingo makes Sweden a key
market for us. We are fortunate to be in a position to be able to quickly
launch into any new market throughout Europe by building upon our existing
liquidity."
