Online Bingo Popularity Leads to Live TV Bingo
NetPlay TV has announced that it will launch its new Live TV Bingo programme on Sky’s channel 867 from two o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon starting on November 1.The London-based interactive gaming company, who has had their ear to the ground on online bingo, revealed that Live TV Bingo would also appear on Nuts TV’s channel 196 following the signing of an extended airtime agreement with Turner Media, which is a division of Time Warner Incorporated. This deal will also see its new-look SuperCasino interactive gaming show broadcast on Fridays and Saturdays from eleven o’clock in the evening on Nuts TV starting this week.
Nuts TV was founded a year ago and reaches over 23 million UK homes with SuperCasino already appearing each weeknight from midnight. “We are delighted to extend the partnership with Turner Media," said Gavin Whyte, Chief Executive Officer for SuperCasino. “The Nuts TV channel has the perfect audience for SuperCasino, our interactive television gaming show. We are also delighted to extend our interactive shows airtime on Freeview, which gives us the edge and broadens our customer base. The airtime, during peak viewing times at weekends, is a major boost for our business."
NetPlay TV stated that SuperCasino is a live automated roulette wheel and revealed that the show is currently available on Sky 866, 867 and 207 in addition to Open Access 201. After the recent growth in online bingo it was the first in the UK to launch such a product on television and recently announced plans to debut mobile casino games early next year allowing players to enjoy stand-alone casino titles.
